The Club
Nestled at the foot of the Red Cuillins, with stunning views of the Old man of Storr and across to Raasay, The Isle of Skye Golf Club is an unexpected gem amidst Skye’s dramatic landscape.
In the early days of 1964, the club saw sheep in competition with golfers! Dr Frank Deighton, a former Walker Cup player designed the initial 9 hole course. By 1988 tourism was taking off and important to the area. The club’s identity required clarification and the Isle of Skye Golf Club was officially formed, a new clubhouse built, and plans for an extension to the course made.
We guarantee visitors a fun test of golf come rain or shine all year round. With alternative tee positions on our 18 holes, you are sure to get a different look at each of our 9 greens. We welcome all ages and abilities to visit and enjoy our wonderful course and the scenery it has to offer. Our website www.isleofskyegolfclub has a more detailed course guide and contact details. Golfing essentials can be obtained in our shop including the clubs own-logo merchandise, club and Trolley hire. Relax in the clubhouse after your game with soup, sandwiches, cakes, hot and cold drinks.
We look forward to seeing you.
