It’s always encouraging to hear positive feedback from a satisfied customer. And when they take the time to praise an individual for going the extra mile to make sure their golfing experience in the Highlands was the best it could be, then we are keen to share it.
Take a bow Mike MacDonald, secretary at Fortrose & Rosemarkie Golf Club, part of the Golf Highland family.
Mike recently helped arrange a golfing trip for six visitors from the USA. When a course the group wished to play was booked up, he took it upon himself to contact a sister club to secure tee times and allow them to look forward to their trip with confidence.
“That means a great deal when you are travelling a few thousand miles and responsible for making arrangements for six golfers”, the group’s leader Steve Sheehan, from Providence, Rhode Island, said in a message to Golf Highland board member Willie MacKay.
“Mike was always available – we exchanged over a dozen emails – and when I called he answered the phone and gave me a lot of his time”, continues Steve, who referred to Mike’s assistance as “really exceptional”.
We like to think that everyone connected with Golf Highland provides exceptional service to our visitors. But it is worth highlighting such a high standard of service to remind ourselves that a little extra effort can have a huge impact on someone’s experience and reflects well, not just on the individual, but on a club, our organisation and the whole region.
Customer service is key to building good relationships and is uppermost in our minds when an individual or group contacts one of the 30-plus Golf Highland clubs.
