The Club

At 58.58 degrees north, Thurso Golf Club founded in 1893, is the most northerly golf course on the mainland of the United Kingdom. Our tree lined parkland course offers golfers of all abilities an excellent challenge. There are lush fairways, generous well maintained greens as well as some beautiful whin bushes. The course also boasts magnificent views of the Orkney Islands and the surrounding countryside and hills. There is a bar and lounge that offers all the usual amenities and caters for all tastes.

Clubs and trolleys are available for hire on request. We also have the "David Lyall" indoor practice facility that is available for use prior to you going out to play.

Our course is also on the route of the "North coast 500" so please feel free to drop by if you fancy a round of golf. Everyone is welcome to come and play golf at Thurso Golf Club.
