Scottish golf courses are famous throughout the world and here at Torvean Golf Club we aim to make golf accessible to all. Nestled along the Northern edge of the Caledonian Canal, a stone throw from Loch Ness and the Highland capital, Inverness, we have been established since 1962.
Whilst so many of the world's top golf courses are located in the Highlands, Torvean Golf Club reaches out to all occasional, serious golfers and not just the elite. Our greens staff take great pride in presenting the course in superb condition throughout the year with manicured greens and testing fairways which are regularly commented on but possibly our finest accolade is “…the friendliest Golf Club in the Highlands.” Our aim is to exceed the expectations of our visitors and loyal members. We do this in a relaxed, informal environment, with an emphasis on simple but traditional Highland hospitality.
Playing off our red or yellow tees, our 18 hole course is enjoyable and entertaining for the whole family. Our white competition tees will test the lower handicappers including one of the longest par fives in the North, the 5th at 562 yards. This is followed by an elevated and very picturesque but testing par three 7th, before another long 219 yard par three at the 9th. With modest fees we aim to encourage participation at all levels.
We look forward to welcoming you soon.
