When Sir Alexander Dunbar of Boath stepped onto the first tee here in May 1899, he declared open a golfing gem on the coastline of the Moray Firth, adding Nairn Dunbar Golf Club to a ‘must play’ course in Scotland. Sir Alexander donated both his name and sixty acres of whins and gorse to the course.
Nairn Dunbar Golf Club are now ranked 9th in the North of Scotland, Top 100 Golf Courses and also added to the ‘Great Links Collection’, our Championship Links Course stretches out 6765 yards over 18 holes, containing four Par 3's, four Par 5's and ten Par 4's giving us a PAR 72 over the 18 holes. Our course will test the abilities of all golfing abilities and promise you a fun and enjoyable round.
Nairn Dunbar is host of The R&A Boys Amateur Championship 2017 while also being previous hosts to many national events such as the PGA Northern Open, North of Scotland Open Amateur Championship, Senior Open Amateur Championship and many more.
Our Championship Links Course is situated on the stunning Moray Firth coast providing us with unbelievable scenery and a true Links Course.
